Default Saitek keyboards

hey guys
i just thought i'd let you all know to stay away from the saitek eclipse keyboards. I bought one of them when i first finished my PC, and it was great....for a whole 2 months, in which random keys would decide to work, or not work. Newegg replaced it even tho the 30day warranty was up, and now that one has failed also. First the escape key died, it doesn't com back up spamming the escape command, then the rest of it died just like the first one.

LONG LIVE LOGITECH!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Check page four of the manual for warranty information and you will find it comes with a 2 year warranty. Try contacting Saitek for a replacement.

I've had good luck with my Saitek rumble force joystick and it's a few years old. I think every manufacturer has some bad product that makes it to the shelves from what I've heard over the years but it is not a good sign when you get 2 bad ones in a row.

that's what ticked me off. if one fails, oh well, i got a lemon, dish out a few bucks to ship it back. but TWO in a row REALLY frustrates me. Not only that but i initially had a blue one to match my case lights, they sent me back a red one

I've actually got two of these keyboards, and love them to death. My Saitek's have lasted far longer than any other keyboard I've ever owned, are far more comfortable, and are inexpensive enough that I'm not worried about breaking them when I beat the keys.....sorry to hear about your issues

get the new one you can change it to any color you want. I have the red version and I love it! I have been using mine for about a year with no problems. You might wanna check your system to see if it is reading the keyboard right. control panel->keyboard->hardware->properties->update driver. Maybe that will fix your problem.

Man, I'm horrible on keyboards....spilling things, smacking them when I get headshot for the hundredth time, crumbs everywhere.
I had one die last year after some Pepsi got under the "7" key and kept sticking.
You might consider this new Razer keyboard, its a little expensive, but works quite well.
