|  Get a free PC safety scan Windows Live OneCare safety scanner: Free online tool for PC health and safety I ran across this free Microsoft online scanner. It is a free service! The scanner will check for and remove viruses, get rid of junk on your hard disk (temp files), and improve your PC's performance (disk defragmenter and registry cleaner). The scan also checks for open ports. They provide a free download trial for 90 days. While I personally would opt for a multiple seat licensing situation, those of you running unprotected systems might find this an interesting option.
