Default A little late with the intro

I waited a bit to officially introduce myself, but figured now would be the best time since my build is just about officially complete, I can finally see the finish line after about a month of buying various parts.

Anyway, my sig is pretty inaccurate now. I'm actually returning the 780i mobo for a refund along with the Kingston memory, thankfully I didn't open any of it. Replacing it will be the EVGA 790i Ultra and 2 GBs/Patriot DDR3 1600 (I believe one of the admins recommended this kit - so I went with that).

I'm sticking with the Q6600, and cooling that I have the Zerotherm 120mm HS/Fan (again thx to the admin for the recommendation on that). I also have a PCI slot fan.

The MSI has also been scratched, I was able to void that before it shipped. I think the better bang for my buck will be with the EVGA 8800 GTS (step-up plan), I haven't ruled out BFG either though.

As far as the case I decided to just go with value over looks and style. The case came free with the 750w PSU I have, so can't beat that when it comes to value Newegg.com - Rosewill R6A34-BK 0.8mm SECC 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

So, hopefully I'll have everything ordered and shipped by Tues (videocard and 790i)

If there's any RTS or sim racing fans on here, then I'll definitely be seeing you guys online soon!
I'm a big fan of SupCom:FA, CoH, GTR2, and rFactor

Great site, I've already learned a lot from the little time I've been here.

Welcome to HL family...

two cents i love this Petra's Tech Shop which is the one i'm using than Zerotherm 120mm HS/Fan...

and what brand of PSU is that 750W of yours, cause some of them are not reliable at all. all admin can atest to that... well two cents again PSU here we trust Corsairs, OCZ, a bunch more...
