Hello admistrators and members, i have just joined this forum hoping to learn some neat things about pc's. Planning on saving some money to buy a decent comp, so iwill try to keep up with the notices and guides. :D

him and killswitch might become good friends lol. He has a crappy comptuer just like him. a bit faster but just as slow! hahahaha.

For the longest time it was in a cardboard box. I helped "mod" itfor him. hahahahahaha....... :lol:

not sure if he still has it. it was a nike box i think.

He just recently moved it into a real case because his brother bought a new pc.

Dual core pentium 4. unfortunately it just doesn't perform all too well.

The Intel dual core processors are marketed under the "Pentium D" name (alhtough it is still based on the Pentium 4 architecture right now).
And why does it perform poorly?

im not sure why it is performing so slowly.
Its got a X700X. Its still pretty fast but it just doesn't seem as fast as it can be.

Intel has just gotten a really bad rap because everyone is suddenly an AMD fan (for good reason).
I think that it came down to the P4 Prescott debacle, to be honest I think the Prescott really set Intel back a long ways.
I just picked up the new 65nm Pentium D, so we'll see how it performs here shortly

HAHA, great, lol :P

I'll be breaking away from the crappy computer group as soon as next week.....will be grabbing an Opty 146, a Sonata II case, and a 7800GT.....but yeah, this rig sucks, lol. :roll:
