Hello to all of you. Great site Capper. I have been on the forums now and found you looking for help. I was thinking of building a pc, and I have to say after the reading of other threads (thanks to many on the diabloplayer75 thread) I decided to go for it. My thread "if i build it, will it run?" was a great help also.

My parts have arrived, sans the darn RAM, one more day to go on that.

I game, back to pong days. Still have it, and every console up to my ps2. I started pc gaming with simulations for the most part. Then I found Battlefield. I went directly to the mod communities cuz I look for less arcade military combat games...and found a home with BF2 Project Reality ( a MUST try for any FPS player), the Cod2, Cod4, CoH, and more recently STALKER (came free with my new mobo).

PS, had a fun round of 3 man Cod4 on the HL server with Capper and CapnCrunch the other night!

I also run my own company (healthcare).

You all are doing a great thing here...this is really one of the best community forums I have seen for knowledge, help, and organization. Thank you.

Hey Stevie, thanks.....yet another person using me for target practice on the server.

Hopefully the house will be finished up (We're having the interior painted) within the next day or two so I can get some gaming in...and a couple reviews finished.

Welcome Stevie... what you saw in these threads is fairly typical of this site, something as simple as asking "what parts do I need" can get some discussion and debate going as to what is needed, and in the end plenty of people learn what is best for that situation.

That was fun Capper, though you put me down with a few well placed sniper rounds! The best was watching capncrunch not be able to handle us just sitting and waiting...but he is a good player.

Painting my place also! Spring time. The wife. What else can I say, at least I have my new build to work on too.

As soon as my Tuniq grease and ocz reaper RAM get here today I can get this sucker to post, I hope.

Oh I love that feeling of anticipation! When the last part is to arrive, and you get it in there, and pressing the power button for the first time!!!!

oops...thanks Parker! Yeah, not too many times as an adult do you get that chance to relive the feeling of christmas morning, sneaking down to see what is under the tree, and that pure feeling of joy and anticipation...

Well there was that time in college when I was invited to stay for a weekend in a ski house with 2 girls...but that is a different story all together.
