I'm a friend of One4yu2c (Please don't hold that against me ;) ) I have checked out your site several times and he kept nagging.. ahmm, I mean, ASKING me to sign up and post.

I'm just a computer geek in my free time. I build my own systems, usually with mid-grade products (I don't really like spending 5x as much $ for the newest state-of-the-art hardware when I can get something considerably cheaper, and not even notice the difference). I have programming experience in the past but don't program much anymore. I also have some web-coding experience but I dont dabble in the dynamic stuff like PHP/ASP/MySQL as much as I would like to. I run a 802.11g wireless network at home; 4 regularly running computers from a 833mhz (for the kids) to a 3200+ 64-bit AMD (gaming pc). I have my home theater PC in the living room that I run SageTV on. It does my "TIVO-like" recording.

I play mostly FPS games, I'm not really into RPG. I have played Rainbow Six series, UT (original), BF2 and now BF2142. I just got the BF2142 from santa ;) so that is my game of choice right now.

I guess I have a little bit of experience in many computer related areas but I'm not really an expert anything (a jack of all [computer] trades and a master of none).

Non-computer related: I'm married, have 2 boys. My favorite 'outside-of-the-house' hobby is basketball. I play a few times a week. I am also a big Phoenix Suns fan! WOOT!

I will get my sig and specs set up soon. But for now I just wanted to say a quick HI and tell a little about myself.

Welcome, Paul invited me also so I feel your pain when it comes to having to admit you know him. I hope you get a chance to post regularly, this is a great site even with Paul here.

Well look what the cat dragged in! PrOLifIC's a very good friend of mine, the only other computer geek I know in person that plays basketball, and now that I've torn up my knee, he's become a lot more competitive in the two nights/week we play. Our sons also go to the same school, are in the same Den for cub scouts, and both play on a kiddie basketball team (they had their first game yesterday).

Good to see you finally posting, dude! Now I just gotta convince you to install CS:S and Skype.

Well I have one of two down. I installed Skype a few days ago... that was the other thing you rave about that I wanted to check out :) Still havent used it but I installed it.
