Thanks

Well, i'm moving away because it's to slow for me. I want to be able to watch fullHD bluray etc, also ripping dvd's to h264 can take a while, at first i wanted a Mac pro, but at a price range between €2000,- and €3000,- depending at the configuration.

But i must admid, i'm sure gonna miss Mac osx

You've come to the right place, we can help with a build that will cost half that and have the same or more power than the equivalent Mac...
also something to remember is that you can dual boot Windows and Linux, and Linux will be a lot more like the Mac you are used to.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Yes that's absolutly right, the configuration in my spec costs just below €1200,- I might swap some components for others but with the same budget.

He's probably using the 'Big Red' forum theme, where the avatar looks clean. 'HL Dark' can be harsh on lighter colored PNGs if not cleaned up around the edges.

Hey rudie75, welcome to the forum. Be sure and update us when you get your new PC up and running.
