| Thanks! Means I can get back 1/3 - 2/3s of what I paid for it! Only used it for a week, and I got rid of it cause of the BSODs were too much. ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| Screwballl was just giving you an estimate. You could make more, or less, or not sell it at all. It just depends on who bids on your item. Pictures are everything on Ebay. If they suck no one will buy your stuff. | ||||||||||||||

| Sound cards are pretty much obsolete in my opinion. But then again I am on an nforce 2 motherboard. ![]() 20MHz Intel 80386 Processor VGA Graphics 2 MB RAM Windows 3.1 | ||||||||||||||

| sound cards are pretty much obsolete for people without sensitive ears... if you want sound, any sound, then onboard is fine but for the rest of us dedicated sound cards like X-Fi cards are the only way to get the real sound out of the system System down - Waiting for Gigabyte RMA on motherboard ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | IMHO my computer's sound hasn't deteriorated that much from having a sound card to back to motherboard sound. Plus my computer's a lot more stabler to boot. ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| by what standard? your ears? I have a AthlonXP system with nforce2 and the onboard sound is terrible compared to even the currently installed SB Live! card. Compare it to the X-fi and the SBLive sounds decent but nowhere close to the clarity and tones of the Xfi. System down - Waiting for Gigabyte RMA on motherboard ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! The newest onboard sound parts are said to be pretty decent, but I still prefer a discrete sound card. Just sounds better to my ears. I've removed my Audigy 2 ZS because I was trying to search out some instability I was having - someone other than Creative will be replacing it in time.
