Microcenter's got the E8400 for 159.99 + S/H and Tax (if applicable)
Wonder if this means the E8600's release is just around the corner, and if it'll mean the E8500'll drop soon. Ironic that Newegg recently raised their E8400 back up to 189.99.

The E8400 shows up at $159.99 for me now. Still a good deal though, I would take that over the Q9450 any day. In my opinion, the quad cores are still not quite worth the extra cost yet.

just went back up to 159.99, but its available web too
the 149.99 was B&M for this past week it seems, they play around with their prices on tuesday and friday. Still a good deal imo.
Oh well, blake buy a 2nd 4850 =D I'll hook u up =)
