Default WCing just some pics [56k warning]

Okay yesterday I was welcomed to the site in overwhelming fashion!

TY all for that and you know who you are.

I was asked here to post some pics on my WC build and I tactlessly bowed out because of a little thing like the board I was WCing is being RMA'ed bla bla bla bla bla.

In a effort to not be so lame I took some pics today of an empty case.... well at least there is no mobo etc. but the WCing stuff is still there.

I wouldn't call this a build log but.... lucky for you!.... I won't be boring you with all the bawdy details.

I welcome all comments suggestions If I ignore you... well you probably know why so don't ask.

Here goes for the Image police I've kept everything to 540x480 I hope that's OK?

If for some reason you want a large pics which I doubt just ask.
If you have a specific Q about what something is just ask.
Again I won't bore those who hate to read.

Components List:

2x Laing DDC-2TPMP 12 VDC Pump
2x Alphacool Laing DDC Clear Acrylic Top
2x [b]Black Ice Pro II Compact High Performance Radiator - Black
Swiftech APOGEE GT Extreme Performance Universal Water-block
I had to order a LG775 backplate and larger 'O' ring to bow it, both are available threw Swiftech. I had an older version that didn't include either. Swiftech has decided to include them now.
EK High Performance Full Coverage Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS Series Water Block
Swiftech MCW60™ Graphics Card Liquid Cooler with MC14 BGA Ramsinks
Swiftech MCW30 Chipset Water-block
EK-Mosfet 680i - Acetal
EVGA 680i Southbridge (MCP) Fan for EVGA 680I SLI Motherboard - Sleeved
Aprox. 10' Tygon 3603 1/2" ID (3/4" OD) Clear Tubing
CM Stacker Bottom Case Shroud - 2 x120
Swiftech MCB-120™ "Radbox" radiator/fan housing Rev 2 - Black
Nylon Fitting Flanged 1/4 NPT Threaded to Straight Barb - 1/2 OD - Black
Koolance Nozzle Pair, G1/4 Barb [13mm, 1/2"]

A couple things here you'll notice I have two different GPU water blocks. The whole idea here for me is to test and see which is better. A couple things I'll give any potential buyers a heads up on #1 Swiftech does not include enough heat sinks to cover all required on my 8800GTS 640's #2 Be sure all is throughly cleaned off before you attempt to apply. You only get one chance and the adhesive is weak at best. Reapplying you'd have to find something I don't know what I'd like to know. Do be careful most adhisive TIM out there is actually epoxy and it's a permanent installation. I read somewhere a guy removed 1/2 a chip right off the PCB trying to remove it. The good news (just in case you cringed like me) he was trying to salvage the HS.

Image sizes are fine, thanks for sharing!
Is the bottom of the CM Stacker normally like that (made for a radiator)? Can't wait to see it all fully assembled!

TY for the comments
Yes I will post more pics when complete only I'm not sure for the moment if I'm going to put the working EVGA 680i A1 in there or the DFI 680i LT when it returns. I'm also in the Queue for an upgrade from the EVGA 680i A1 to the newer 780i A1 and could consider it as well. Actually it's a pretty good deal for $80 includes shipping to upgrade the extra board I have.

@ gvblake22

Yes the stacker comes pre cut out for radiators and the holes are sleeved right for machine screws that line up with standard radiators. The clear acrylic riser to hold the fans however is an accessory. Easily found online

I want to do something with the inside of the case. I seen alot of peeps ( over at XS) out there painting the inside of the case to black and using black tubing. That looks pretty cool but maybe something UV reactive would be nice.

What do you think?

Yep, the black insides do look really nice... maybe with some UV green or blue coolant. BTW, what is the exact WC hardware your using?

I'll list it all up as an edit in the first post tomorrow. Yeah everything goes with black but certain things just seem to pop out with the dark background.

I've painted the inside of a case (see this project log)

Overall the painting of these aluminum parts turned out better than I had expected, particularly the case. There is only a minor spot of drip on each part. The case still needs more painting as I didn't get some of the parts like inside the 5.25" drive bay and the ceiling of the inside of the case. Drips were'nt that big of a deal because it was all black and about impossible to see when the whole thing was assembled. It's not easy, but isn't too difficult either... I say go for it!

By the way, the case pictured above is just collecting dust in the corner, PM me if you want to give it a good home!
