| Oo I love ghetto mods! I modded a 92mm fan onto a 7600GT fan-less cooler. Lowered temps by about 10*C on load. Very impressive - more than I thought. The buddy who has it in his computer rather enjoys it. DAMN I wish I had pics lol! |

| I jammed some paper clips into the fins and then wrapped the paper clips around the screws holding the fan grill on. ![]() |

| Very nice mod ![]() Here is my AM2 fan "ghetto mod" ![]() ![]() Larger Version (1600 x 1200) The second top fan was removed because it was causing turbulance... My original thought was I could turbocharge the air before it went into the stock fan :D But it didnt work T_T The mod with just the side fan drops idle temps by 3c and load temps by 1-2c. ![]() Last edited by robodude666; July 7th, 2007 at 09:51. |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | How secure are those paper clips? If one should fall or get jarred loose, you could be in for a nifty (yet short lived) light show, starring your motherboard! |
