Default Spiderman Lian Li mod

so here's an idea i've had for about 5 hours
Newegg.com - LIAN LI PC-60BPLUSII Black Computer Case - Retail
take that case, cut a large, rectangular window, and sandwich a piece of steel cut into a spider web between the window, and the side panel.
then make the outside candy apple red, inside blue with a clear coat.

light up the inside blue, and some red underneath.

also cover the DVD drives with a plate that says "THWAP"

any thoughts/comments?

(yes, it's a spiderman mod)

That's one hell of an expensive case if it doesn't work out.

But if you have the sheet metal skills needed, I think it would look great!

Yeah, that is a fairly plain case, you can get really similar ones for a much more reasonable price. As for your mod, I'm not so sure about the "THWAP" drive bay covers, but you could check out THIS MOD for some ideas!

alright cool, i'm a little worried on the front.
trying to hide the dual 3.5" bays might be a tad cumbersome, but i've got a 2 other friends in on it, and my dad as well.
all of which are insane craftsmen/artists...
here's a drawing of spawn my buddy (the artist whose gunna do the thwap, and spiderweb designs) did today in latin, 20mins...
...okay i'll upload the picture once i get my scanner to work with kubuntu/gimp = D
*EDIT*
blake man that mod is gorgeous ty SO much for sharing that with me!
some of my ideas are similar, but in no way to that extent.
i think i might add some more black to the case than i had originally planned.
And quakin, i know it's expensive. If i totally botch it, i'll turn it into something else, completely overdone and sell it to a drunk college kid...they always come in asking for mods...

here is his drawing of spawn.
i'm going to gimp it up and set points on a layer over it, and make it more of a photoshop-style picture, then have it etched into a window for him

Wow, nice drawing! That would look pretty sweet etched onto a big side window. Definitely keep us posted with pics of your progress!

i will
i'm still looking at some more cases...
i have done 2 builds in Lian Li cases, and the planning that goes into them is phenomenal.
i want to try one for my own personal use.
if anyone else has any suggestions for very plain, large cases that you could see this mod happening in, i would really appreciate the input = ]
my current rig (see sig) will be going into it.
alright, did some quick sketches in paint...
for the fangrills

for the sidepanel

much more dimension for the sidepanel, and places to attach the fan grills to also
