Default Repaint!

OK, because you guys thought the original paint job sucked, I redid it; in green.

Also, if I were I were to sell this computer, the one in my sig and the one pictured (they are the same PC), what would be a good asking price? I was thinking around $1300 so I could make a little profit... That expensive because of the water cooling and all.

Man it's hard to sell a computer you build since anyone that knows enough about computers to appreciate it will build their own and the ones that don't know anything will think WTF is that. At least from what I've seen on forums anyway. I like the green better than the zebra.

Yeah, the zebra was a mistake ()...

So, that being said Joker, what is a good price for it? It's pretty hard to explain to people not to get a Dell or something like that. It's also very hard to explain to people what the hell water cooling is. Even my friend who is sorta into computers was very confused one what water cooling was; I had to show him. Before that, he thought you draped a wet towel on your computer and that was water cooling. No joke...

Thats a tough one. I've never had much luck trying to sell something for even what I have in it. You would need to find someone that knows something about computers but doesn't want to do their own build. You might want to start a thread and ask everyone what they think it's worth.

For what you have invested in it, $1,300 is a fair asking price. But you gotta ask yourself, what will people pay for something like that (in your area)?

Water Cooling = Advanced Cooling Apparatus (required for extreme performance and quiet operations)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo @2211.3 MHz
MS-7125 Rev 1.0 nForce4 K8N-Neo4 Plat
Phoenix 6.00 PG 05/22/2006 BIOS
2 x OCZ4001024PF 1 GB PC3200/400 3-3-3-8 2T
nVidia XFX GF8800GT 512 DX9c
Samsung SyncMaster 930B
1 x WD800JB / 2 x WD2000JD
HP DVD640
OCZ 520ADJ SLI PSU

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... Pacific Grove is an old person's town with a lot of senior citizens. Basically a retirement place by the sea. I don't know any seniors wanting to shell out $1300...

Damn man! I actually preferred the white to the green, but good job anyway...
Reminds me of Luigi from Super Mario Brothers. Maybe you could put a little raccoon tail on the back and paint a big L on the side panel?

(thread moved to modding section)

Dude, you got me on something I think.
I have this SLK1650B waiting in my computer goods closet, been thinking for a while what I would do with it.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

I actually was thinking about putting a stencil on the side panel, but then I thought many people wouldn't like that and therefore wouldn't buy it...
