Default [PROJECT] "The Toaster"

Hi all! The new Mountain Mods H2g0 (dubbed "The Toaster") has finally arrived, and this is going to be the worklog for the build.

Basic Hardware:
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6420
  • DFI "Blood Iron" P35-T2RL
  • 2GB G.Skill 800MHz
  • BFG GeForce 8600GT
  • Silverstone Decathlon 650W
  • Western Digital 250GB

Water Cooling Components:
  • D-Tek Fuzion
  • Swiftech MCR-220
  • Swiftech MCP-355 with Petra's DDC-01s Top
  • Swiftech Micro-Res
Mountain Mods Order:
  • H2G0 case, Black Wrinkle finish
  • 12 120mm chrome fan grills
  • 25 M3 case screws
  • 25 6/32 case screws
Now, on to pictures.

It came in a big box via Fedex. Very nicely done packaging.

12 120mm chrome fan grills

All unpacked, and it looks amazing

Fan grills unwrapped

Assortment of screws

Mountain Mods signature hard drive rack

Motherboard in place

Motherboard, PSU, pump, GPU, wireless card installed

Pump placement

So far, I am extremely impressed with this case. There is only one issue that I must mention: the 5.25" bays. I have no idea how to mount them. It's a complete mystery to me. I've emailed MM about it, and I'm still awaiting their reply.

Nah, this thing was $250, I'm not gonna risk screwing it up. Anyhow, it's almost prefect the way it is, IMO.

Thanks, except for the 5.25" thing, its awesome. The 5.25" devices go in the lower left side in the front, but I can't figure out how to mount them...
