Default New Torture Rack all spruced up with goodies

Well my Torture Rack came in and I moved all the hardware into it. This case is by far the best case I've ever owned and it's so easy to work with for a person who change hardware often. In addition it's wayyy more sturdy than my HSPC tech Station. Thanks HW Logic for introducing me to the DangerDen Torture Rack.

Specs:
Intel Quad core Xeon 3210 @ 3.2GHz
Asus P5K Premium Black Pearl
4GB OCZ PC6400 XTC
ATI HD2000XT 512MB
2x 150GB Raptors in RAID 0 -- 1 WD 320GB for storage
Optairc 20X DVDRW
SB X-Fi Extreme Gamer
Silverstone OP650

Cooling:
DangerDen MC-TDX
Black ICE GTX240
Swiftech MCP 355 Plus 12v
Swiftech MicroRes
Tygon 3603 tubing w\ Breeze Stainless Steel worm-drive clamps
All in a DanderDen Torture Rack

Then I just ordered 2Gb of OCZ DDR3-1333 and a Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R. The reason I got the cheap hybrid board is because I don't have the money to drop on a $350.00 MB when Socket LGA-1366 is on the horizon. I own a P35C DSR and it's a GREAT board, but it's in my dads PC. This new one the EP35C has gotten much better reviews. Mainly this new hardware is to bench with and feel out DDR3.

Here are some pics of the rig. Click on the thumbnail for the larger image.

In about a week or two I might spring for an E8400 to play with under the WCing and see how far pas 4GHZ I can get :)

Let me know what you guys think.

I hope you have some really strong fans on that rad, because I've heard it's really restrictive (both airflow and water wise).

Also, you'd get better flow with an aftermarket top for the pump: Petra's Tech Shop

Ya, not saying it's a bad rad, but there are definitely better choices.

You Hit it right on the nose Capper, these are low speed Delta Tri-blades and there is almost no air-restriction through the rad at all! The GTX240 is meant to operate with low or high speed fans...

So I don't know where the information came from that the GTX240 is very EDIT air or water restrictive, but it's dead wrong. The rad is a dual pass........

& @ Yellow, I have used Thermochill, Black Ice Pro, Black Ice Extreme and the Black Ice GTX240. The GTX series is among the best. Even if it was restrictive, with a powerful pump it would actually benefit from the extra pressure and force acting on the radiator.

Look at the GTX compared to the PA120.2. The thermochill has much wider fin spacing compared to the GTX. The thermochill is optimized for low speed fans, while the GTX is made for high speed fans.

To be honest, i'd be kinda cool to get one for the computer in my room, instead of using a clear case.... same effect and stuff, but alot easier to work on.

Edit: Dang, those are pricey, lol. Maybe not, lol...

Edit2: Hmm, you wouldn't be looking to get rid of your old tech station, would you?
