| Okay...with the platform changeover (from P4 3.2ghz s478 to AMD 3700+ s939), the case mods, the recent additions of my Seagate 250GB SATA, the Zalman video cooler and 3 carefully placed light sticks, my MegaRig project is...well, all done. :smt089 I thought I would take this opportunity to show off the final finished product. Only thing that bugs me a bit is all the inverter wires in that big jumble. I tried to push them all as close to the mobo as I could, but I don't know what else to do with them... :smt102 The only inverter I couldn't really hide is the sound activated one with the green light. Can you find the other two? You probably can... The UV light surprised me that it was able to fit in that spot in the window, considering it's a tight fit with the window panel there and being shoved up against a drive bay too. You can't see it in these pics, but the red light is actually velcroed to the bottom of the PSU and the other end is stuck in a bay between the Maxtor and the fan controller. Maybe not great placement, but it works. My SATA drive is located right under the floppy in the bottom of the upper removable bay. My Maxtor is located just above there. And then of course theres the video cooler. | We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | yes, looks very nice. How long did it take you to put it all together and what are your impressions of the components you picked? INTEL E8400 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 4GB DDR3-1600 // Palit HD 4870 // Antec 1200 // Seagate 750GB HDD // Zalman CNPS9700 // BFG ES 800W PSU |

My impressions? The 3700+ isn't as hot on hyperthreading as my P4 was, but it's got it going on when it comes to gaming, which is what the system was built for. I like having the 2GB of RAM, and the video card rocks! Overall, I'd say I love it! If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! | ||

| Modder-ator | Awesome job man. Those lights are frickin' bright!!! :o Normally I'm not a fan of lots of different multi-colored lights but you have managed to pull it off nicely! That is a very nice system indeed. |

| Wooo. I like your lighting scheme. Do you have some sort of light switch or timer somewhere? I ask this because in one picture the lights would be one color, then in the next another. Classic blade fangrill... nice. Good job Gig-o-Ram. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |
