| Functional Alcoholic | This computer has been an on going project since 2001 Mostly in Upgrades. Two years ago I added the Window and etch, a year later I added LED fans. Couple of months ago I decided to do an upgrade, and a little more modding. I cut out the front bezel and added M-16 Fan Grills. I also cut holes in the window to help cool the GFX card and CPU, becase the front fans were only cooling the Hard Drives and air wasn't getting to the rest of the computer. I also added two more cold cathodes. I upgraded From Asus P4C800-E Deluxe Intel P4 3.4 GHZ Crucial 2 GB DDR 400 PC 3200 XFX Geforce FX 5950 ultra 2 X WD 36GB 10K Raptors TO Lian Li PC75 AMD 64 X2 4400 Corsair XMS 2 GB DDR, EVGA Nvidia Geforce 7800GT (Currently being steped up to the 7900GT CO) Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum, ASUS A8N SLI Premium Enermax 550W Whisper II, Plextor PX-708, Plextor Plexwriter Premium, Western Digital 74 GB 10 K RPM SATA Raptor drive 4 x Western Digital 250 GB 7200 RPM SATA in Raid 5 Before ![]() ![]() ![]() During ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BOOTED FIRST TRY!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The etching came from this photo of me in Iraq. ![]() My wife Photoshoped it to this ![]() and I etched it into the window using supplies I got from Glass Etching Kits.com and used their Online Guide. ![]() ![]() ![]() AFTER ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() OK I added some new bells and whistles. Added the Artic Cooling 64 Pro ![]() And a LCD Fan controller. ![]() I also decided to use the EVGA stepup Program, and sent my 7800GT back to EVGA to get the 7900GT, I will post more pics when the new GFX Card comes in. |
