Defacing Compaq

I'm actually going to cut on a case instead of just add lights or fans. Since I won't get to use the mid tower, I going to use my wifes old "Precrappio" case. I will be adding a side window to get rid of one logo. I still working on the details for the face and backside. It will be a work in progress so bear with me. I will be posting pics as soon as I get my sons computer back up. (Thanks to Fasstazz) Any ideas or sugestions appreciated. Thanks Bailey.

Sounds like a cool project. I've seen some pretty cool mods come out of those type of cases. The good ones I've seen made very good use of Bondo actually. You'd be surprised what a little Imagination and Bondo can do to a case, so keep an open mind!

Thanks guys. I probably will use some bondo to smooth the mobo side panel. I haven't really decided yet. As for the fron panel, I have taken the face apart to see what I can do with it and have a couple of ideas. Definately for the intake. As for paint, I will be painting the exterior with some good old satin black. The front bezel parts that are silver will probably be painted with some left over Chevy ornge engine enamel I have lying around. I was going to paint the insed with a burnt red but got to excited and went ahead put everything in. I guess I can do that later. I don't think it will matter to much though, I forgot how cramped these small cases are. I will try and get some pics up in the next couple of days. Bailey.

I've got a Compaq case layin around that is so ugly you couldn't mod it. I hate those crap bezels they were stickin on their machines back around 2001, only reason I had it was because my father didn't know better and thought it'd be a fine graduation present. Plays a mean game of solitare though.

I won't be able to get any pics of the case until tomorrow. It's at my buddies house. We were going to load it up this evening but now have to wait until next weekend. Man I need a copy of XP Home.
But, now I guess I could go ahead a strip it to paint the inside. I will try and see if his wife is going to be at home tomorrow to try and get it.
