| This is the first page of 2 pages of the design on my personal completely custom (14-fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) full computer case. im aiming for wood (lol with the cuzin) or i wanna try to build it all from steel with him. either way this is gonna be SICK...i think...i hope! ![]() 2nd (final) page ![]() just wanna know what you guyz think. this is a really, REALLY rough sketch up on photoshop of what the "final" case is gonna look like. im finishing the 2nd part now (front, back, other side panel) and will post in just a bit. THANKS!!! p.s. that flag on the other side panel is the Armenian flag, and Hovig (short "o" as in "pole", and the end is pronnounced "eeg") is my Armenian name, and Viken (Vee-ken) is my cousin's name! | T-Rex | Way too much fans for nothing. Remove the 200mm intake, it's only going to make noise as the air will get "sucked" thru it. Remove the upper right 80mm fan on the side panel, cause if you plan to place the components like in a standard case you'll be blowing air over your DVD writer... Remove the 120mm exhaust on top, again only taking air out from your DVD writer. The 200mm exhaust is useless unless you put your power supply at the bottom, in which case the 2x80mm on the side panel are rendered useless. I suggest you use 120mm fans instead of 80mm ones, it's only going to cool better and make less noise. Depends on what you want to acheive though, sometimes for the sake of the design you can't use 120mm fans. Also, where are the front and back of the case?? |

| i just want a lot of fans. insane. noise isnt as important here, and the top right on the side panel is exhaust to take air from the memory and stuff. also, the 200mm fan on top will stay since (like u said) PSU is on the bottom. also, the two bottom-left 80mm fans will be moved up to clear the PSU and exhaust air from the PCIe/PCI slots. i want to slightly change the configuration though. i literally drew this 1/2 hour ago! |

| Functional Alcoholic | Honestly 1 120mm or 2 80mm fans for intake and the same for exhause is plenty. For added cooling a 120mm Side Panel fan helps also. What you have in mind is a little over the top. 19 fans WTF? BTW you say 14 but in your pictures there are 19 Fans. Fan on the bottom? Why? |

| in the first pic, i have 2 possible different side panels. when u only count one, its 14 fans in total. hmm im gonna do some rethinking LMAO i just thought this would be cool (no pun intended) but i guess it would be kinda loud. i could always get ultra quiet fans just to see what that thing would do. how about 2 on the front, one on top, 2 at the back, and 2 on the side? or MAYBE 3 on the side (some cases come stock with 3 fan slots on the side so...) |

| Functional Alcoholic | You only need one on the side if your using a 120mm or larger, thats plenty to throw fresh air on the VC and CPU coolers. The whole idea of case fans is to provide air flow through your case. |

| Modder-ator | Yeah, that many fans is seriously overkill and not worth your while. With that many rear exhaust fans, you really don't need any on the side panel. When you pack that many fans into a small space they are all going to fighting each other for air and airflow won't be very efficient. And with a rear panel that large, you should be able to fit two 120mm fans in the front while keeping at least 3 5.25 drive bays. And good luck with the custom case, you don't know what you are getting yourself into! ![]() |

| I agree. The noise is going to be tremendous, regardless if you use Vantec Stealth or Arctic Cooling AC-series fans to do it. Additionally, it is not so much the noise to worry about, its how the hell you are going to hook up 19 fans in your case. We are talking about 19 case fans... it would be wise to probably invest in a couple fan controllers. |
