Default Buran's Clear Case

Well, since I don't have the money to get a new cpu and such for my good computer (it'll be about a month or so before that can happen), I did go and clean up my clear case computer, and install my 500gb hd and my good sata dvd drives as well, as well as some more ccfl's, because what's a clear case without ccfls? Or lights of somekind, at least.

It consists of an Abit Fatal1ty fp-in9 650i mobo, with my trusty e6300 sitting in it, 4 gigs of mushkin em2-ddr2800 ram. There's also 2 bfg 7600gt's in sli, with a cooler master aguagate duo viva to cool them (doesn't work the best, but it works better than the zerotherm coolers I was using before, and it's got the whole I'm cooler than you thing going on, while still being pretty cheap). Also, an msi tuner card for my ps2. A pair of nice, quiet asus dvd drives sit up top, with a vantec fan controller/ccfl inverter sits in the middle, with a western digital 120gb ide drive and a samsung 500gb sata drive for storage. There's a scythe mine rev. b sitting on the cpu, and 5 cheap apevia fans sitting throughout the case to keep things cool. Also, 2 logysis ccfl kits, 1 dual 12 in, and 1 dual 4 inch, to keep things pretty. And it's all powered by an fps blue storm 2 500w psu. I sleeved alot of the cables myself (only burned myself once, too!), athough there's afew that still need sleeving.

All in all, a fun computer pour moi. Havn't done too much overlocking with it yet, although I got some sweet ram that I've been waiting for for a while now on it's way soon, some pretty ocz reaperx's (the mushkin I had ordered is going to my friend's lame msi mobo, that has the dual channel ram slots sitting right next to each other... and the reaperx's heatsinks don't like that, lol. so we're gonna swap.

Anyways, enjoy!

Wow, there's a lot of stuff goin' on in that case! Not really my style, but good job on getting it all set up. Maybe you could look at cleaning up the wiring a bit too

Thats one of the main things i don't like about clear cases , its hard to hide the wires. Still looks cool though.

But it opens new doors of how you can play on that idea and make something very unique (like Orac³)

I don't think a modular psu would help all that much, the only cables not in use right now are the pci-e connectors, lol.

What I need to do is clean up the mess that's resulting from the water cooler's wireing harness and those fans on the side... that's where most of the mess is coming from still.

I'll try that, it just has some ccfl's that will be going into it still, lol.

Ya, clear cases are a pain to wire well... you might want to get some mesh and hide some of the wires under it.
