Default Backlite LCD

I had my laptop desk all lite up at one point, but since I built my system I havn't really used the desk all that much. So i stole the coldcathodes from it and added them to my LCD monitor.... I know some of you guys don't like the brightness from computers and such, so this won't be up your alley.... but for a guy like me, I enjoy the claming sounds of the computer, and the cool blue glow that it gives off.

Added 2 coldcathodes to the back of the lcd to give a nice backlite in blue to match the computer, keyboard and soon my new Belkin Speedpad with the blue backlite!!! Guess you cant really see the keyboard, but its blue too..

enjoy...

That does have a nice look to it. But can it be turned off, like if your are watching a movie and you don't want the distraction?

I think you should put a foam layer or something to block the "empty" 5.25" bay drive in your 900.

Wow, that's a lot of blue! Good job, but I think you've out grown the two minute mods. Now it's time you find yourself a dremel and start doing some real mods!

Yea Blake can show you how to turn a 3 day mod into a 300 day mod.

was looking at a dremel lastnight as a matter of fact, and I intend to clear the cable out of the case and do the old Case mod, by runnin the cables behind the motherboard tray... but honeslty I dont have the room.... I have no where to out the computer parts if I disassemble the computer... so it will wait until we get the house, then the fun begins.....
but I did mod my girlfriends Emachine...... if that counts!!! LOL
