Default Alien Mod

I have had this Chieftec Dragon Full tower case for several years now. I have been wanting to mod it for quite some time, and have kicked around several ideas. You might remember my Dodge Viper Mod Idea. Well I took this computer to a LAN party last month and busted the front panel so bad the bay door kept falling off. So I went online to order a new one I found for $9 at Directron, and by the time I was done looking around the site I had several things in my shopping cart, then whooops I pulled out my credit card and paid for them.

I wanted to do an easy mod, because I didn't want to put too much money into this case, but I was tired of how it looked. I went with the Alien Mod for two reasons. 1. There was a ton of Alien Head items available, so it was very easy to find stuff for the theme. 2. The original Alienwares used cases very similar to this one, so I though it kinda fit.

The Parts came in today, so I left work early so I could get started on my project.

I am still not finished, I am waiting for some more parts to come in they should be here by next weekend. I will post some more pics once they come in.

Overall I am pretty happy with how it is turning out so far.

Alright I finished up the Mod. I added a lighted case badge and some cold cathodes.

Yeah that case is huge its the full tower. Yeah the alien is pretty generic, but its still cool. Yes thats a fan controller, This case has 6 fans in it, so it gets pretty loud.
