Default Work

Hey all - Cap, I hope I'm not over-steppin my bounds here. I apologize if I am...I just wanted to put out there, that I am a tech recruiter that is always looking for technicians/engineers/web developers/analysts...all that stuff nationwide. We are currently looking for a TV repair tech in Denver, CO. I hope I didn't violate a rule Cap, if so, please let me know, and I won't post anything like this again. I am just having trouble finding qualified candidates. Thanks!

If i can post our website, that will be cool. but I won't do it unless you say it's ok.

unfortunately, this one isn't remote. we actually need someone to do the warranty work in peoples' homes. this is for a major manufacturer of electronic devices and tvs...4 letter word as the name and rhymes with another name for a small horse. we do get some remote jobs, but this one we need a tv tech that can service about a 50 mile radius. mileage reibursed.

Aw man, TV repair is easy!

1. Remove rear panel cover to expose all the tubes.
2. If tube sockets are not marked or there is no chassis drawing make one! Crayons work OK.
3. Remove all the tubes.
4. Take the removed tubes to the corner drug store and test them in the tube tester. Look at the meter! Good = Green and Bad = Red. If the tube meter points to Yellow flip a coin.
5. Replace any bad tubes with new good tubes.
6.Done!

So like can I have the job? Since I am sure salary is commensurate with experience I request Ten Dollars (US), a bottle of cheap wine and a hooker once a week.

Ron

leave it to Ron to do it the hard way... just hook up the TV-out on the laptop to the TV and click the "diagnose TV problems" button...

Thanks HL and Corsair!
