| So I built my dad a new PC. His old Pc was a socket 478 and I had a Zalman 7700AlCu cooling the processor. So when he got the new system an E6550 with a P35-DS3R I needed the socket 775 mounting kit for the 7700AlCu. Right now the E6550 is cooled with my Xeon stock sink which has a thicker copper core then the one included with the E6550. It's handling an OC to 3.0ghz well with max temps at around 50C. With the 7700 It should do 3.2-3.4 no probs. So instead of having to buy the mounting kit Zalman RMA support is sending me one FREE! Basically Zalman Customer Support Rocks. I sent the email last night and the kit is already in the mail to me, less than a 24hr response... They could have easily told me I had to buy it but they are a good business and treat their customers well. | Glad to see that Zalman takes care of their customers and products long after the purchase has been made! Makes me feel good knowing that the new HSF assemby I purchased from Zalman will be taken care of. =) This thread should really have been posted HERE though. ;) |

| So an update, the mounting bracket arrived in a few days but there was still some little L shaped pieces I needed. I simply replied to their support, got a picture of the pieces I needed off the net and sent it to them. They responded 3 hrs later saying it was in the mail. This is by far the best customer service I have ever had from any major companies. Mind you I could have purchased all this stuff for about 15 bucks shipped, yet Zalman is sendng them to me for free.....
