Default Kudos to Zalman

So I built my dad a new PC. His old Pc was a socket 478 and I had a Zalman 7700AlCu cooling the processor. So when he got the new system an E6550 with a P35-DS3R I needed the socket 775 mounting kit for the 7700AlCu. Right now the E6550 is cooled with my Xeon stock sink which has a thicker copper core then the one included with the E6550. It's handling an OC to 3.0ghz well with max temps at around 50C. With the 7700 It should do 3.2-3.4 no probs. So instead of having to buy the mounting kit Zalman RMA support is sending me one FREE! Basically Zalman Customer Support Rocks. I sent the email last night and the kit is already in the mail to me, less than a 24hr response... They could have easily told me I had to buy it but they are a good business and treat their customers well.

Glad to see that Zalman takes care of their customers and products long after the purchase has been made! Makes me feel good knowing that the new HSF assemby I purchased from Zalman will be taken care of. =)

This thread should really have been posted HERE though. ;)

So an update, the mounting bracket arrived in a few days but there was still some little L shaped pieces I needed. I simply replied to their support, got a picture of the pieces I needed off the net and sent it to them. They responded 3 hrs later saying it was in the mail. This is by far the best customer service I have ever had from any major companies.

Mind you I could have purchased all this stuff for about 15 bucks shipped, yet Zalman is sendng them to me for free.....
