| Was on the phone with intel for my E3110 RMA. Very helpful, just needed all the information on the stamp of the processor and the heatsink. Sent me an email with instructions, mailed the busted processor + heatsink (unused) packed back in retail packaging to them last week, they received it thursday, and shipped my replacement friday. 2 day air, departed UPS hub in Louisville Monday morning, arrived in Newark NJ hub tonight, should arrive at my door tomorrow. Very fast and no hassle. Thumbs up for Intel! ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| The Final Word
| They are actually very nice....as is AMD.....considering how often they get screwed over by people who fry their processors intentionally. INTEL QX9650 ASUS Maximus Extreme 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Torture Rack (Custom W/C) Seagate 750GB HDD BFG ES 800W PSU | ||||||||||||||

| Colonel Calamity
| thats the tough part of doing business from their end... better to just replace it and then sell the fixable ones as "open box" or "recertified" to recoup some of their costs ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. | ||||||||||||||

| honestly i have no clue, could be the bent pins on my MB, or that i put the VCore at 1.3 for like 2 hours @_@. It says on the box Max VCore 1.25, so maybe that did it. | ||||||||||||||

| Just to follow up, even though its a little late (considering my sale thread) Intel's support really is #1 for such a big company. No hassle on the RMA at all. Mailed me a brand new processor after getting all my info, they even did 2nd day air UPS too! Almost made me feel bad goin ground to them, but i'm poor =P | ||||||||||||||
