Just wondering what everyone is using. Why? And how would you rate it?? I have a Ratpadz GS I use it for everything. It's a hard plastic with rubber feet that keep in place very well. I love to find a mouse pad that my Logitech mx-518 would glide over the pad just a little smother. But it's a pretty good pad. I have it at 7 1/2 stars. Or for the egg geeks 4 eggs.LOL ![]()

As pathetic as this may sound, I'm using some old plain piece of red rubber that came with my old Win3.11 PC over a decade ago. I'm not the type of person that can't live without some teflon cover or anything.

Yeah, HL mousepads would be cool. I wonder how much they'd cost to make. It's funny you should start this thread, because recently I've actually been thinking about getting one of those teflon mousepads. I saw it in an old MPC issue. It looks pretty cool 8)

It'd be cool to have HL mousepads :D As well as HL sweatshirts. I would wear it proud. I should email FUNC and see if they will do it. EDIT: Func currently has a BETA up right now for their new customization service: http://www.func.net/products/custom/customize_beta.html I think if we have alot of demand here we can get them at cheaper prices. They're pads aren't outrageously priced anyway. The archetype can be picked up for around 25 canadian. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

| Modder-ator | Well, I have an X-Trac Zoom special edition hard surface mouse pad (only like $5 from SVC). I hoped it would be better than my previous generic cloth pad but it's fairly average. The hard surface gets dirty much faster/easier. Right now I am actually using the laminated surface of a particle board desk. I think I just need a new mouse, this MX-512 is just too heavy for my taste. And about the HL gear, I've got a couple print shops that will make custom mouse pads, but they are the really crappy cheap cloth pads that aren't smooth at all and I wouldn't recommend it. As for the sweatshirts or something, that might be cool if someone doesn't mind eating the up-front costs associated with such an endeavor. |
