| Since I reinstalled XP i have notice a problem with my sound and Optical drive while either ripping or burning or even watching a DVD the sound comes out like it's in a tape player when the batteries are low it goes very very slow what could be causing this becuase it is getting very very annoying and yes it does it with all DVD's and CD's except when playing the music straight from the CD but not DVD where you hear pop a crackles from the speakers with those and yes the sound is fine when there is no CD ripping or burning and a dvd playing Matt First Build CPU: AMD 64 x2 5000+ Board: Asus M2A-VM Memory: 2 GB G. | I have noticed that when the drive is ripping at a high speed to. However this dosent bother me as I just download music now all my CD's have been ripped. Any ideas anyone? | ||||||||||||||
