Default Problem With VErizon ADSL Modem help pls..

Westell Versalink 327W

Model no. B90-327W15-06
Rev. D
Assembled in USA

problem, the router goes on and off, disrupting my CSS, internet surfing and every darn thing i do with it...

pls. help.... and it also increase the darn ping during my CSS...

is it worth to buy a different Router instead of requesting for another defective router from verizon and to go through the annoyance of debating with un-knowledgeable customer support...

My uncle used to have this problem a lot. His problem was that the modem was overheating. We had to unplug it for 60 seconds. Could that be your problem?

You hit it right on the head. I had 327W for a few years and it would overheat and crap out. I called Verizon and explained this, they gave me the Actiontec modem\wifi router for like 14.99.

The 327W is a DSL modem\router\Wifi. Now the Actiontec I have is a DSL modem\router\wifi. Mine connects to the wall jack via a telephone plug. I don't know what a WAN jack is...

Damn, I just gave away a nice router a couple weeks ago!!!!!
I'd definitely ask your ISP for a new router, these companies charge you for that staff (usually loaded into your contract). Get your money out of the deal, get them to provide a new router

The 327W is a DSL modem. The ActionTec above is a FIOS modem. What are we talking about here?
