Default Problem with Logitech MX1000 wireless mouse

So ive currently have my Logitech MX 1000 for about a little bit of a year, and i left it to charge last night. I come back and the darn mouse is on red which means the batterys need to be recharged. The only thing is the mouse wont recharge. I made sure the USB cord is plugged in and that the power is plugged into for the mouse. I even tested the socket where I plugged it in. I dont know what is wrong with this thing? I love this mouse to death but am not willing to pay another $100 bucks for it. Anyone else experience similar probloms with this mouse or another one? Thanks

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

The only similar thing I experienced with that mouse is that I'd sometimes need to jiggle it in the charger, as it wasn't making proper contact. If that's not your problem, call Logitech and setup and RMA. Logitech has some of the best customer service out there, and if the mouse is faulty, they'll get you a new one sent out.

Send it on warranty, because it's apparently broken.
The Logitech MX1000 is backed by a 3 years warranty. To check terms and how to get a replacement/repair/refund just follow this link.

I'm pretty sure you can come to something even w/o the receipt.

From my experience, they'll ask when/where you bought it, but won't need to provide a sales receipt.

BTW, to set up and RMA (LINK), call 702-269-3457 and have the following handy:

- Model number or Part number of the Logitech product
- Software version for your Logitech product
- Type of computer (e.g. Pentium, 486)
- Make of computer (brand name)
- Version of your Operating System (OS)
- Troubleshooting steps that you have tried

Still though, make sure you're jiggling the base to make sure it's not a contact issue.

I had my MX1000 for about a year and counting. I had experienced charging problems as the rest of you fellas here. I found out that the adapter crapped out and used my Nokia phone charger and plugged it into the mouse charging base and haven't had that problem ever since.
