Optical drive suggestions plz

alright i need some suggestions for a good dvd drive and a cd drive. it has to work with the EVGA 680i mobo.

I'm actually using this drive right now and really like it. The SATA cable as opposed to the ribbon cable makes cable management much better.

The one Capper posted is my recommendation as well, and the new Sony/NEC Optiarc drives have been getting good reviews lately. I've never used an LG drive, but there's also a lot of good about them.

Works great without a hitch, and super fast at burning and installing. Personally I would go with Capper's suggestion for the Light Scribe, 20x burn speed and SATA support.

I've got 2 of those.....no complaints. Writing a movie that's already on the hard drive to a dvd....8 minutes, standard. I keep mine on 8x though with movies.
