The SATA cable as opposed to the ribbon cable makes cable management much better. | HL's Technomancer | The one Capper posted is my recommendation as well, and the new Sony/NEC Optiarc drives have been getting good reviews lately. I've never used an LG drive, but there's also a lot of good about them. This is the burner I'm using right now: Newegg.com - PHILIPS Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 8X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 24X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache IDE interface (ATAPI) DVD Burner - Retail Works great without a hitch, and super fast at burning and installing. Personally I would go with Capper's suggestion for the Light Scribe, 20x burn speed and SATA support. |
