Default No front audio with Gigabyte 965P-DQ6

I have the Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 I am getting audio from the back no problem but nothing at the front!!! I pluged in the 10 pin connector did all the tweaking with the realtek software that came with the mobo but nothing at all I have an Antec P180 for case.

I recommend to open the manual and look for the front panel audio port pin outs, then use the individual front panel connectors that run are attached to the 10 pin connector.

the pins from the front audio port are solder connections so that end is fine just to make sure I either use the 10 pin connector or the single ones to the mobo right??

So it has to br a software issue then I wish gigabyte would answer emails!!!!

My P180 had a ten pin connector, and connected to the 10 pin was also a bunch of single connectors. The 10 Pin had the wrong pinout for my motherboard header, but still plugged in. To get it to work, I had to get out the manual for my motherboard, and match up the labeled single connectors, with the pins according to the manual.

Ah I see so you didn't use the 10 pin connector just the single ones!!!
I will give that a try
