Need software for a DVD writer

I just picked up an OEM DVD burner from Newegg, but as it's open box, I got no software with it. I read a review at egg where someone mentioned Nero Ultra 6 (something like that) works well, but I was wondering what would be the best software to get for it.

It is an LG super multi DVD writer, model GSA-H22N, Aug '06. I have Nero Express 6, but it doesn't do DVDs.

Nero 6 Express does DVD's (unless you have that really really old version).

I checked it, and I do not have the flyout in #1. If I want to choose a drive, I have to hit the "Disc Info" button on the bottom and change it there.

If you are looking for something to use to backup your favorite DVD movies then check out DVD Shrink: Shrink your DVDs to fit DVDR!.

I use version 3.2 and it works great.

free burning programs:
CDBurnerXP, Alcohol60% (120% is a pay version), DeepBurner, demo versions of Nero... theres more but these are the main ones

I don't know that I'm necessarily looking to back up movies (though that's not a bad idea), I just want to be able to put more stuff onto a disc than I can with a CD-RW. It's more for file backups.
