Default NEC Monitor

I just got a monitor from the wife's work for free it's a Gateway-NEC monitor and I don't know much about monitors so I was wondering if someone could clue me in on weather this monitor is worth messing with. It's 22 inch which is a plus but it's large and takes space. Anyway here's a link to it's specs. Another plus is it looks like I can use 2 computers since it has 2 video inputs.

I think on some of those monitors, the second port is an output to a second monitor so you can do a presentation or hook it up to a projector that has a VGA port...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Ok I never knew that. There's a button on the front to switch between them.

hmmmm I wonder if it is for use with 2 computers on a single display... like a built in KVM without the K or M

Here's a link to a view of the connectors and the front switch if that helps.

That first link says it all:

This is a view of the video signal connectors on the back of the monitor. This allows the monitor to be connected to two computers at the same time.

I had one of those and my brother still uses it. Yes, you can switch between two computer inputs. Each connector supports a machine connected to it.

Really an excellent monitor once you get a hernia putting it in place. It was similar to a few Dell (actually Sony Trinitron) 22" CRT units I have. They weigh in at about 70 pounds.

I just hooked it up and it weighs in at 65 pounds. Wow what a lot or real estate compared to my old 15" LCD.

Yeah, they take some real estate. However, damn fine monitor.
