| I don't see any cards that will do more than 2 monitors. I did see a motherboard the other day that had 3 pcie slots, but I think 2 were for graphics and one was a physics slot. I can't for the life of me remember what board it was though. It was one of the big name new boards though. Maybe Rich knows. Commodore 64 overclocked into outerspace ![]() |

| I know that the quadro professional line of graphics cards from nVidia will do 4 monitors, but they also have a professional price. LINK This card will support 4 monitors - only $285! lol You could buy cheap PCI graphics cards that support 2 monitors, put 2 or 3 of those in and you in theory you should be able to run 6-8 monitors. Note that I said "in theory", since I have never tried running more than 3 monitors under WinXP. || AMD Athlon64 3800+ Venice | Asus A8N5X s939 | OCZ Premier PC3200 Du-Ch 1GB | Sapphire X1600Pro 512MB PCI-e | 1xWD 80Gb & 1xWD 250Gb Sata(s) | Antec SLK3800B Case | Enermax NoiseTaker 485W || |

But yeah, you get an SLI set and a PCI card (by the same manufacturer - i.e. nVidia or ATi). - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 | |

| Functional Alcoholic | Monitors are easy to come by if you don't mind small ones. I see 15" CRTs at garage sales all the time for around $10. You can pick up 15" LCDs for around $30. They aren't the best but if you just want monitors its a cheap route. |

| 15" LCDs... I can do that. I should get a quad display setup for that. That would be sweet. But it's at school. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| Functional Alcoholic | You just have to look around, and be willing to deal with used stuff, which sometimes can be a real PITA. You can check ebay, but I would only buy LCDs on Ebay, cause shipping even a 15" CRT wouldn't be worth it. I would suggest looking locally first. Check News paper classified ads, for sale boards at grocery stores, even Mom and Pop computer shops. |
