| My husband is 6'5" and he complains that mouses are always too small. He's got gynormous hands and they're just uncomfortable for him. I"m looking to get him a big mouse for xmas. He's a gamer...likes cordless mouse, and a few extra buttons would be great too. Any suggestions? | Modder-ator | I have reasonably large hands and my fingers are quite long and I've enjoyed using the Logitech MX-510 (almost identical body as MX-518 and G5) (or G7 if you want cordless) and Logitech LX3 (or LX7 if you want cordless). The MX is much wider and fills out underneath your hand better and has more buttons while the LX is thinner but longer, making it more suitable for people with long fingers who prefer to grip the mouse with their finger tips rather than with their entire palm resting on top. I used the MX-510 for a long time and like it, but it was a little too heavy for my liking. I switched to the LX3 and haven't been back since. The LX3 is lighter and suits my mousing style better than the MX-510. You could also check out the MX-610 or MX Revolution. I've only tested them in a store (not used them personally), but they seem nice. Last edited by gvblake22; November 26th, 2007 at 09:56. |

| I don't own one, but am guessing the Razor is a slightly larger than normal mouse. Least it looks a tad larger in all the pictures I've seen of it. Razer | For Gamers. | I'm Diggin it! | My hand measures 4.5" across, from in between the thumb and index finger to just below where my pinky meets the hand, and from wrist to the tip of my middle finger is 8.5". I wear a size 12 ring. I use the Logitech Revolution mouse. It is a little expensive, but my hand is very comfortable on it. I don't really have a problem with hitting the right buttons as I did on other mice with multiple buttons, especially ones in the thumb wheel area. This Revolution mouse is very good for guys with big hands. Since your husband probably has hands bigger than mine from your description, you may want to take him to a store and have him try the display models. This is an excellent price on this mouse with the $30 rebate. | By just thinking off the top of my head, Microsoft makes the largest Mice with their old Intelimouse Explorer line, those things were HUGE. But they are quite crappy and not really Gaming-Grade. The fine line with Gaming and wireless makes giving a suggestion a little hard. You're best bet is probably the MX Revolution. The only wireless gaming grade that logitech advertises is the G7, which i dont think is very big at all. Unless he's a hardcore Gamer that craves high DPI, a normal mouse should be good enough. |

| Colonel Calamity | I am also 6'5 with big hands and I have just gotten used to normal mice... I can't afford to continuously buy these big mice as rough as I am. I do have an oversized Logitech Marble but it absolutely sucks for gaming as the ball is in the front center and not to one side (most trackball mice suck for gaming anyways regardless of where it is placed.. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair!
