| I have had my zune for about three weeks now and I just thought I'd say it’s brilliant. So if anyone is thinking of getting a new MP3 player I would highly recommend the zune. I will post updates here on the zunes features as new firmware is released or hacks are found. Also rumour has it that an announcement for a new firmware release will be sometime this week which will hopefully bring new features and make better use of the zunes wifi. | The zune is my replacement for the GBA movie player. 1GB to 30GB is quite a change. |

I've been heavily considering getting a Zune. I've been itching for an mp3 player, but I refuse to buy an I-crap. I don't really want one of the media players either -- far to expensive for me. I haven't really proceeded at all. Zune supports "drag and drop" style song uploading?

You currently cant use windows media player. The zune software is basicly a cut down version of windows media player. However there is a hack to use your zune as a external hard disk in windows explorer. Hope this helps

I have seen images of the new zune firmware 2.1.4 beta. Unofficial sources say that it features wireless syncing and the ability to connect and download from the zune marketplace at wifi hotspots.

Probably better off to get the Zune 2 if you're getting a Zune. It's a little bigger I believe and boasts a 80GB HD to compare to the iPod. It also has a new interface and a touch sensitive scroll... cross... haha. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64
