Default Laptop HDD

I have a laptop HDD and I was wondering if there was a way to put it in a PC also I have a dvd drive from a laptop and was wondering if there was a way to use it also.

Do they have the cables that adapt to the smaller drives?

If you do some research, they make an adapter that comes with the cable to install the drive in a 3 1/2" bay. Not sure, but as yuri said, I do believe that newegg or maybe zipzoomfly will have the adapter.

I am not sure on the dvd drive though, but I do know that the hard drive adapters are availble.
