|  iPod Alternative I'm thinking about buying an iPod as gift, but I've read that there are battery and software problems, and the price is a bit over my budget. Are there any good alternatives that you guys can recommend? | Re: iPod Alternative Anything would be better than the iPod  I would recommend Creative for their size and function. iAudio/Cowon has some good players. iRiver had some good players but now they only have the Clix =/ They killed off the other line >_< What type of player do you need? There are two types of storage. Flash and HDD storage. There are also MP3 and MP4 players. If you are looking for a good MP4 PiMP then check out the Cowon A2 or Creative Vision (w?) |

| Re: iPod Alternative Just something for storing and listening to music. Not sure what size would be good since I really have no idea of what the ratio of gb to playing time is. (i.e. how many hours of music is one gig?)
