Default Ion Cooler 2.0

The baby ion cooler mod is here. Good improvement on the other mod, no electrically charged air circulating around your components and by far less pricy. Not the best one, still good stuff.

This is more tempting than the other one, though not enough to cool a high end computer it would be good for an HTPC. :)

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Yeah i'm tempted by it too. I'm sure you can something more esthetic than a CD tower cover and dabs of hot glue though. :P

Hmm, very interesting, but look at this picture of if in "action". Does that look like a fan on the inside of the case behind the cooler??!!

Ok, before anyone wastes any money, I already have all the parts needed, and im about to test it.

Test 1: Thin copper wire with thick insulated wire - Result: No Air flow
Test 2: Thin copper wire with thick uninsulated wire - Result: No airflow

Some difference though, he using an "Ion Generator", and im using a 10,000 Volt transformer, I might be able to pick up some diodes and turn this into a ion generator however....

I'll update this later
