| Was at a buddies house lastnight and we watched the hockey game in High Def on his big screen over the antenna..... I was thinking about looking into a type of Video record or HighDef antenna USb plug in for the computer.... Can anyone personally recommend a good USb HDTV kit for the computer?? Ihave a oldr Huagpodge USB gizmo, but its not HighDef..... thanks.... | The main problem I can see is that the USB itself would be a bottle neck speed-wise unless it automatically encodes the signal with higher compression to reduce the actual signal and space required... otherwise I would suggest an internal PCIe x1 or better card. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | well, I dont have any room inside the computer. I mean I could remove a light, but I was kinda hoping for a external unit like the one I had. I figure I have a nice 24" LCD, so why not get extras enjoyment out of it. Honeslty it would be used on occasion... possibly when the kids have the TV in use and theres sports or something educational on the telly (like According To Jim). I know theres a few out there, but I have heard mized reviews on them, and was kinda hoping there would be some concrete advice here.... they range form 50-150 bucks...... | My friend has used a pinnacle pctv hdstick (don't remember the exact the model or anything, and it works really well.) You can find them on woot fairly often. Myself, I use a pinnacle hdtv wireless to go, which lets me stream the tv over the internet and over my wireless, and it works pretty good too, so I would look at pinnicles line of devices first. e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. | ||||||||||||||
