Default Hacking a 3G Ipod >> phatty Drive

Here's what I wanna do:
Take an old iPod and hook up an 50gb to 80gb hard drive to it. (do 50's exist?)

So yea. if anyone has an old iPod they can donate for <15 bucks and if someone could find me some sites that could explain this (i've been looking at i-hacked and stuff, couldnt find any detailed walkthroughs)

The reason behind this is I have over 50gb of music and I want to keep my iPod Video having videos on it, and then have the Hacked iPod in my car to listen to the musics.

Thx =)

oooh! I have a 10GB disk, but it's pretty old and that's probably not large enough for you.

Let us know how this project turns out after you get a disk. It sounds very interesting to me :)

I have some hard drives, but I'm waiting to get this in the mail to see what's on them and format them before handing them out.

Edit: It looks like he IS asking for an iPod for $15 though.

Dude. I don't think you'll get a craptastic first gen ipod for 15 bucks. You can send them back to ipod for a price, and get a new one. Sorta like evga.

Agreed. If you are looking for a used, but functioning iPod without a hard drive or otherwise, I would hit up e-Bay.
