| Lvl 1 College Student | I'm going to college in <1 month and I am ABSOLUTELY not taking my ViewSonic G90fb (its an excellent monitor, and I've not had any problems with it, and its perfect.) Except for one thing. it weighs 55lbs and takes up 8 cubic feet behind my desk. So here is what I need: -It to be comparable to my G90fb (I like run my desktop at 1280 x 1024, don't play games higher than that) -has to have something so I can plug my NINTENDO Wii into it. And I dont wanna pay 5000 billion jillion fufillion dollars for a cable. lol. And preferably not expensive. Thanks for yer suggestions!!!1 :) |

| resident headbanger | zambini, go to www.monoprice.com for all your cable needs. They ship fast and are the cheapest on the web. As for monitors, someone else will have to help you out there. -1 I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review |

| Modder-ator | That is relatively easy, you just have to make sure you get a monitor that has component, composite, or s-video inputs (although I would suggest component video for the best quality, but I think you need to buy a separate cable that will give you component video outputs). Were you planning on connecting the audio to external speakers of some kind or hoping to use speakers on the monitor? Here is a quick rundown on connecting the Wii to a display with component video... Last edited by gvblake22; August 24th, 2007 at 05:18. |

| Lvl 1 College Student | I want to take my Logitech Z4-i speaker system. But I'll have to talk with my roomie first. And yea, component would be fine, because the monitor is higher res and needs the quality. By the way, I know I didn't mention this, but my current monitor is 19" diagonal, and I want one similar or bigger. |

| Lvl 1 College Student | Ok, bumpage time. What about getting one of these lil things: VDigi Electronics Enhanced VD-Z3 Review - Xbox It looks like that's what I can get, along with component cables. Or, after looking at their website, they actually have a Wii VGA plug VDigi Electronics - VD-W2 VGA cable Actually that cable is exactly what I need. I've never heard of them, but maybe you guys have? Granted they are based in Hong Kong. But that looks like its exactly what I need. And I can't find any other company that makes those. |
