Default Genius TVGo A11 Tv Tuner

Today i installed a Tv tuner card, so far everything ok, but when I quit the application the tv (channel) sound remains until I reboot. Has anyone any experience setting up tv tuner cards and why is this hapening?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Amd Athlon 64 X2 5200+ @ 3GHZ

Asus Crosshair

what is the name and version of this software? have you gone to their website to get the latest drivers and software updates?

It has the same name of the tv tuner card TVGo A11 the version is 1.0, and I have visited the website and have downloaded the latest drivers for windows Vista. I´ve been searching for some info about this issue but with no luck.

Usually happens when the thread isn't closed properly. You could try using a different software. I recommend KMPlayer, it's relatively simple to use and quite fast. It's free, too.

Hopefully it solves your problems. KMPlayer can look a bit complicated at first, so if you need help just ask. Once you get the hang out of it you'll see it's a very feature rich application with little CPU overhead for video processing.

Have you tried using the Media Center in Vista? The tuner is pretty damn good.

Yes, I´ve tried it, but the only issue is that the remote controller from the tv tuner card wont work.
