I am looking at picking up two 24 inch monitors anyday now. I have narrowed it down to two choices. Which of these two would you think is best and why... Thanks, Dell 2407WFP-HC or Samsung Syncmaster 245BW Let's just keep it at "Dude its Dell" Yes I am pricing out a new one to build.

They're both very very high quality and awesome monitors. And to this day I'd still go DELL. Their price to performance value is amazing on these monitors, and you'll never be disappointed with DELL. If you had another option, the best 24" monitor right now beating both of these would be the BENQ FP241W (or any of them from that series). I'd grab 2 of those if I were you and had the opportunity.

I looked at the BENQ but $700 per monitor is quite a chunck out of the ol' wallet. Dell has theres for $579 and Samsung's is $479. Let's just keep it at "Dude its Dell" Yes I am pricing out a new one to build.

Seems like Dell to me. I have never owned one personally, but one of my friends has a 19" widescreen and he loves it.

samsung makes the panels for a lot of the dell LCD monitors. just thought i should point that out, so you decide on the nitty-gritty specs, and the little things the enclosures offer. usb ports, stand etc

Well I decided to go with the Dell. Can't wait for them to get here. The flexibility of the Dell Stand/Base was the decision maker. We use dell's with the same stands at work and they are really nice. Thanks everyone for your thoughts. Let's just keep it at "Dude its Dell" Yes I am pricing out a new one to build.
