I've had one of these for a long long time, I use it for everything and take it along where ever I go, it's never failed me yet. I do wish I had one that was a bit larger though........;)

I've got the 1 gig size, but I'd like to get the 4 gig one. Mainly because I go down to my sons house to do all my major downloads and sometimes 1 gig just isn't enough. Like when I downloaded the Vista Beta 2's

True, but from what I hear, the 4GB drives are really slow.

I think I could live with a little slower speed, I have a few other Flash Drives that aren't the fastest in the world. My OCZ Mini Kart is fairly slow for being a newer drive.

If I were going purely for capacity (which is actually what I'd do if I payed for one), I'd probably go for a mini HDD (not the pocket ones, but the 2.5" kind). Right now, I've got this drive and a 160GB external HDD. I don't use the external very often though, because it's a PITA to carry the cables everywhere.

I have to be honest, I would recommend a 2GB flash drive...or simply burning a DVD.....much cheaper and easier in my opinion. I'm always burning DVDs for friends that contain various utilities and applications that make upgrading and optimizing systems as pain free as possible

Right now, I'm using this drive to boot linux and carry my thunderbird wherever I go. Can't do that with a DVD 8)
