Most people don't seem to be fans of the trackball mouse, but I think they greatly reduce the discomfort from hours of use. Once you become accustomed to them, I feel they work faster and are more responsive than traditional mice. I also would like to find a good Wireless example. Since I plan on having it located away from my desk, on my custom gaming chair (see my other thread). I've tried the Logitech Trackman... don't like it... It's too small for my man-mits. The Microsoft Trackball is actually excellent, and the perfect fit... but not wireless :( Last edited by dttuner; June 5th, 2008 at 12:01.

Well.... that's a little bit TOO big, and not ergonomic at all. I'm actually planning to use it for some intense gaming as well. This is the perfect trackball, but if it only came in wireless! ![]() .

| Quote: The top one (Logitech Optical Trackman) was the one I was referring to, when I said it's too small for my hand. I actually get cramps from using it over an extended period of time! The other one just doesn't look like I could really use it for gaming. Not ergonomic enough... know what I mean?? The Logitech Optical Trackman, and Microsoft Trackball mouse, have the perfect architecture: Ball controlled by Thumb, and buttons are in traditional mouse position. But... Logitech is too small, and Microsoft is not wireless... Boo... ![]() | |

looks kinda comfy to me, actually. How far away is the chair? or do you just not want to deal with the wire? because honestly, wireless isn't that great.

Most people say that, and I agree to some extent. I created a "custom gaming chair" thread, which for whatever reason hasn't been approved by the mods yet.... Anyway, I'd like to avoid any wires. And the gaming chair will have platforms to hold the key/mouse, and a trackball mouse would be perfect since it doesn't have to move around.
