I did find the following user review for you...

Summary: Did lots of research looking for a good set of budget 5.1 speakers and these got consistently good reviews. They can be found for under $50 on sale at many online sites. They have great bass and good overall quality for movies and games.

My only minor complaint is that music sounded a little "muddy". Quality is good, but if you are an audiophile or mostly listen to music, you should probably invest in a better 5.1 set for more money or a good quality 2.1 set for around the same money. The Logitech Z-5300 and Z-5500 5.1 sets are both excellent THX quality speakers which will sound better but will cost 3 to 5 times as much as these.

Also, the front speaker cords may be shorter than you need to be properly spaced (only around 6 ft each). The rear cords are closer to 15 ft, which should be plenty for most people. Overall, I feel these are great speakers for the price and would highly recommend for those on a tight budget looking for big sound.

THIS is the best deal I could find from a trustworthy site. Mwave has it for about a dollar cheaper, but shipping is more expensive...
Hope this helps :)

Personally, after looking at both of these speaker sets, I would just get the Z-5300's. If you don't plan on using digital I/O, then they would be better because they are cheaper and still have a remote and are still very powerful and THX certified. Unless you know you want to use the Digital Audio or you know you want speakers with that much power that the 5500's have, I think the 5300's are a much better deal. Especially if you plan on placing these speakers on your computer desk that you will be sitting at, you really won't need them to blast at extremely loud volumes because you will be sitting right in front of them! Those are my thoughts anyway...

If I'm not mistaken, the remote on the Z-5300 set is wired. That may or may not be a factor - personally that's a deal breaker for me, as I'll lay in bed in a good distance away and crank out some MP3s.

Regardless of remote, I'll play the part of the red guy on your other shoulder and push for the Z-5500. The Z-5300 is a much better bang/buck speaker set, but I'm not satisfied unless my neighbor's neighbors are complaining. :P
