Is this a decent monitor for the price.... also.... the connection type.... I have 2 8800 GTX ko edition cards.... Im not too familar with the HDMI cabless.... does it plug into the DVI port in the back of the card or do I need to use the VGA connection?

I have around 500 bucks to put towards a new 24". I sold some tools at work, and Income tax is coming.....

looks like a decent setup although I have never used Acer LCDs so I cannot comment directly on that... you will always want to use the DVI or HDMI whenever possible.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Acer makes a good monitor for the money, I have one, and 2 of my friends have one. Not as good as my samsung monitor... but considering how much cheaper they are than samsungs, it's worth it.

We run Acer 22 inch at the mine I work at and they run verry well and look great, our only problem is coaldust kills anything we throw in its path after a short period of time. Most our monitors only last 8 months to a year but thats under fairly extreem conditions compared to what one would have in their home. Hope this is somewhat of a help to your question, they are verry nice when we get them just they dont stay that way in our office.
