Default 19' WS LCD On The Cheep?

I'm looking for an 19' widescreen LCD I can be proud of that won't break the bank. The problem is since I've never really owned and LCD before, I really don't know what to be looking for as far as specifications.

Some Monitors I've Found Thus Far

Hanns·G JW-199DPB
SAMSUNG 941BW
BenQ FP92W

For the most part, it will be used for going gaming and some graphic design.
Helps the **** plz!

EDIT: Price range is between 150 and 250 USD

Asus P5N32-SLI SE Delux
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
XFX Nvidia GeForce 7900GT
OCZ Gold 1Gig (2x512) PC2 6400
Ultra Aluminum Blue Full Tower ATX Case
Ultra Connect X 2 Wire Modular 550w PSU

That BenQ is the best buy in my opinion. It has the highest contrast ratio and best viewing angle out of the three. Although the Hanns-G appears to have a larger color gamut at 16.7 million colors vs the 16.2 million on the BenQ and Samsung. All are good choices, but I would lean toward the BenQ or the Hanns-G.

Assuming I could afford it, how about SCEPTRE X20G-Naga III

Good call Paul. I would suggest trying to get a monitor with DVI if at all possible. The ViewSonic Graphic Series VG1930wm looks like a pretty decent buy to add to your list.

On paper it looks to be a decent monitor. But just remember that a 20.1" widescreen has a relatively small pixel pitch. This means that sitting close to the monitor (no farther than arms length or so) things will look nice and sharp, but any farther than that and images and text will look smaller than normal. Just something to keep in mind.

My cousin bought the Samsung one. It's pretty nice. I'm not recommending it since I haven't seen the others in person, but it is nice.

I got this LCD over the weekend, VX922 for $250US equivalent(paid $289Can.).
The display is awesome, just watched a movie on it and the displays 2ms refresh sure helps.

I'm going to assume a faster response time, or refresh time is better, particularly for gaming?

The "No DVI" also brings up another question. Why go DVI instead of VGA?

Back in the days, DVI used to be much better than standard VGA since it was a digital processing (cleaner image, better colors). Those days however there's normally no visible difference between VGA and DVI on the same monitor as they use high quality cables and the technology has matured. :)
I tell you, DVI is not more crisp than standard VGA since a while now.
As for the faster response time, yes, the faster the better. However, I know alot of people who exaggerate the effect of a slower response time, saying it renders games "unplayable". This is not entirely true, and it goes depending on what type of panel you're taking. However, I suggest to anyone to keep it under 8ms for any gaming, though it is hard to find one higher than that. I've gamed on 16ms, 12ms, 8ms, 5ms, 2ms monitors (and I have a 20/20 vision) and there again there's no noticeable difference under 8. At 16 and 12 you can see a faint blur, nothing dramatic but I can see how that could impact your performance in fast games.
