| I need to be able to get a few pages from the cached pages. How do I go about doing that? I am using Netscape browser7.2 and need to be able to get a few pages that I was on a few days ago. Searching on the browser history takes me to the page but shows the current page not the page I was on a few days ago. I need to be able to look at the older page to be able to prove something my bank says is not possible. I know Windows saves the pages but have no idea how and where to start looking for them. Any help? ![]() HP/Compaq dx2200, 3.06Ghz Pentium4, 2-160 GB HDD,1.5 GHz DDR2, NEC_DVD_RW,HL-DT-ST RW/DVD, Cyborg Joystick, Acer 17" Monitor Finally Added a Linux OS Ubuntu 7.10 Now Learning it a different story. | I'm not sure about Netscape, but in IE the files are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder in your Documents and Settings. |

| I'm Diggin it! | Ack...I haven't used Netscape since FF came out. I can't help you there. I did find this page doing a Google search. Maybe it can lead you in the right direction. | T-Rex | By revisiting the same page again you probably over written the cached files with the newer version. To find out where are your temporary files, go to Tools->Preferences->Advanced->Cache. On the right pane you should see something like "Cache directory" and in the text box should be written a directory (starting with C:\Documents and Settings\) Your files should be there. However, Netscape 7 being based on the gecko core, I highly doubt you'll be able to find any useful information there. |
